When Tim, the founder of Black Fire Food, approached me, he had a bold vision: to create a brand that ignites curiosity and brings the heat—literally. Together, we turned up the heat to build a brand identity and online presence that perfectly encapsulates the essence of Black Fire Food: bold, flavorful, and unforgettable. Let’s just say it’s a branding recipe with extra chilli flakes.
Branding
Working with Tim was like adding the perfect kick to a dish. The goal? Capture the fiery personality of the brand while keeping it sleek and professional. Every detail was carefully spiced, from the logo to colour schemes, to reflect the bold and spicy flavours of their sauces, jams, and spice bags. The result? A brand that’s as eye-catching as it is memorable—with just the right amount of heat.
Website Design
The website had to do more than look good; it needed to be as functional and enticing as a perfectly balanced hot sauce. I designed a user-friendly and visually striking website to showcase their products and tell their story. Features include:
- A homepage that’s as bold as their hottest chilli.
- A user-friendly product catalogue with imagery so good you can almost taste the spice.
- An engaging “About Us” section that shares Tim’s culinary journey—from spark to flame.
- An easy-to-navigate e-commerce platform designed to make customers click “add to basket” without breaking a sweat.
Photography
Photography for Black Fire Food needed to be as mouth-watering as the products themselves. I captured visuals that practically scream, “Spicy and delicious!” From rich, glossy sauces to perfectly packed spice bags, every shot is designed to evoke the bold flavours that define the brand. These images now fuel their social media, website, and promotional materials, turning heads and sparking cravings.
Outcome
The collaboration resulted in a hotter brand identity and website than a Carolina Reaper. Black Fire Food has firmly established itself as a standout in the culinary market, with products now available in shops across the UK and Ireland. Their website serves as a spicy hub for customers eager to explore their range and bring the heat to their kitchens.
